Physical Education

'As long as I'm in great shape, nobody beats me, for sure.' -  Usain Bolt

We feel Physical Education should engage every student at Tewkesbury School. Students are given numerous opportunities to enjoy and excel in their chosen sports. These range from competing for national titles all the way to enjoying sessions of yoga and weight training to improve health and fitness. There are also a wide range of academic qualifications on offer.

Students are given opportunities to participate and develop new skills in numerous different sports with our aim to strive to discover a sport that all students will enjoy, improve at and continue into adult life.  Our extensive extra-curricular programme includes team games such as football, rugby, netball, cricket and rounders, alongside giving pupils opportunities to participate in gymnastics and cheer leading.  Accredited courses include GCSE, A level, BTEC level 3 and also a range of leadership and coaching courses.
