Parents: please download our new school app

Helping parents to stay up to date

As part of our ongoing drive to help parents stay informed of what’s happening at Tewkesbury School, we have launched a new school app called School Gateway – this is accessible via a website as well as a smartphone app and shows information relating to your child(ren).
 

Using the School Gateway will enable you to view the following information:

  • Monitor attendance and inform school of unexplained/future absences
  • Direct access to ParentPay where you can make payments for school items, trips and visits and  to check / credit lunch balances
  • Access to ClassCharts to view your child's achievements or behaviour issues
  • Check the contact details that our school holds for you
  • View details of any medical conditions that our school has on record
  • View your child's academic progress reports
  • By downloading the app you will also receive free reminders and announcements via app notifications for events such Parents' Evenings or in the event of an emergency school closure

If you have a smartphone, please download School Gateway from your app store by clicking the icons below. 
 
Once you have the app installed:
  • Select the green box saying 'New User'
  • Enter your email address and mobile number (it must be the ones that are linked to your child/ren on our system)
  • Select 'send PIN'
  • You’ll instantly receive a text message with the PIN number. Use this PIN to log into School Gateway.
  • We suggest that you select 'allow notifications' to alert you to messages that are sent out.
The app will enable you to message the school for FREE – this will also save the school money when we send you a text message.

Trouble logging in? It may be because the school doesn’t have your current email and/or mobile phone number on record. Please contact  studentservices@tewkesburyschool.org with the correct contact information and we’ll update your details on our system.

ParentPay

Thank you to the families who have already activated their account and are using the new system so far. 

Its now even easier to use access the system through the school app.

ParentPay will be our preferred method of making payments to school and the Finance Office will become a 'cashless' office.  We therefore encourage you to set up your ParentPay account as soon as possible.

If you require your unique activation code (which has been previously sent to you via email) please email Finance@tewkesburyschool.org who can reissue your details. 

ParentPay is a secure online system that makes it easy for parents to pay for trips, uniform, stationery items and school meals.  You will be able to pay online using your credit or debit card. Your children will not have to worry about losing money at school.

How to get started with ParentPay?

  • Enter your activation username and password in the Account Login section of the homepage. NB. These are for one-time use only, please choose your own username and password for future access during the activation process
  • Provide all the necessary information and choose your new username and password for your account - registering your email address will enable us to send you receipts and reminders
  • Once activation is complete you can go straight to items for payment, select which item(s) you want to add to your basket and proceed to complete your payment.
We will continue to share news and reminders via facebook and twitter and hope that you will find using the School Gateway app a valuable way to keep up to date.
