Tuesday 20 March, 3:30-4:30, Sports Hall, Tewkesbury School

We are delighted to invite parents of children in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13, along with their children to attend our very first Apprenticeship Fair.

This event has been organised as a direct result of feedback from local employers who are keen to meet our future school leavers who will be seeking employment opportunities. Our students also requested that they were better informed about alternatives to traditional academic routes such as A Levels or University.

There is a wealth of new apprenticeship opportunities across the county offering an excellent route into employment whilst gaining further qualifications.

We currently have over 30 employers from a wide range of sectors signed up to join us for the afternoon. Sectors represented include engineering, manufacturing, automotive, legal, financial services, hospitality, business administration, health, social and childcare.

We appreciate the fact that many parents will be keen to better understand the range of opportunities on offer and how they can best support their children to successfully apply for an apprenticeship.

Please join us in the Sports Hall from 3:30pm onwards. We ask that you register your interest here as this will give us an important indication of likely numbers of attendees.

We look forward to seeing you.
