We are pleased to welcome Year 5 and 6 children and their parents/carers to learn more about Tewkesbury Academy at our Open Evening on Monday 18 September 2023 from 5:30-7:30pm.
Tewkesbury Academy is a vibrant learning community where happy, motivated students work in partnership with their teachers, parents and our local partners to excel in many different contexts. Our young people leave us equipped to meet the demands of a fast-changing workplace that requires independent thinking, creativity and collaboration.
Arrival: Please arrive for 5:30pm
Please park in the large car park nearest to the motorway, with additional parking at Alderman Knight School.
The presentation will start at 5:30pm in the Sports Hall from the Principal, Ms McGillycuddy and students. This will give you the opportunity to hear more about our vision, values and life at Tewkesbury Academy. Tours of the school will follow after the presentation where you will get to see our excellent facilities and speak with subject staff. During tours, the Canteen will be open serving complimentary refreshments and taster meals.
The evening ends at 7:30pm.

Open Mornings - Tuesday 19 - Friday 22 September - tours at 9:15 and 11:15
During the Open Mornings, student guides will show visitors around the Academy where normal lessons will be taking place. There will be the opportunity to talk to students and staff who will be happy to answer any questions. Please arrive at Reception and allow at least 1 and half hours to look around.
