E Platform
New to the Library, you will be able to use our new e-platform ‘Wheelers’ to loan e-books to your own devices.
Download books to your Kobo, tablet, ipad, lap-top, phone or e-reader. You will also be able to borrow an e-reader from the Library to use at home (see the Library staff for details).
All students have permission to loan one e-book at a time and each will be able to keep the book for 3 weeks. Use the following link to the e-platform and log in using your normal school login and password:
Please see the Library staff if you require any help with downloading books or would like advice on how to use the platform.
Community Library
Parents are welcome to browse Access-It our Library Catalogue from home and borrow items through their child. Use the link above and search through our extensive choice of resources. Simply ask your child to come and borrow the item and we will issue it to their record. All book loans are for 3 weeks and DVD loans are for 1 week. Replacement charges are requested for lost or damaged items.
Useful Weblinks:
Accelerated Reader:
For Accelerated Reader users, see if the books you are reading are part of the scheme. Use www.arbookfind.co.uk and log on as a pupil to search for all titles. This is helpful if you are reading a book from home and you would like to see if there is a quiz for it.
Accelerated Reading quizzes can be taken from home using the following link: https://ukhosted2.renlearn.co.uk/2127984/.
For parents who wish to see how well their child is progressing with Accelerated Reader, the Homeconnect website will give you access to your child’s bookshelf. The site complements the Accelerated Reader scheme that your child uses in school and is a fantastic way to encourage your child’s reading. The website shows you their quiz performance, the points they’ve earned and the book level they are reading. Your child’s usual Accelerated Reader login can be used to access the website.
