All Sixth Form students are expected to spend some of their time serving the school or wider community in some way. We have strong relationships with our neighbouring Special School and partner primaries.
Obviously this is good for the people who benefit from the help our Sixth Formers can give and the example they set to younger pupils, but it is also of benefit to the pupils themselves. It can build confidence, and will help them learn how to deal with other people.
It also adds a valuable element to their CV, which will come in especially helpful when applying to university, or for future jobs.
